Red Barn Produce is a family-owned and operated wholesale produce company located in Highland, New York. In 1989, after years of working in local restaurants, we went into business for ourselves. Equipped with an old pick-up truck, we attached a wooden cap that bore a striking resemblance to a red barn and began delivering vegetables to local restaurants, and so the name Red Barn Produce was born. Soon after starting Red Barn Produce, we identified the need for a local and specialty fruit and vegetable distributor here in the Hudson Valley. For more than 20 years Red Barn Produce has been providing the finest local and specialty produce to the Hudson Valley.

We built our reputation on quality fruits and vegetables. Along with an extensive network of domestic and international vendors, we work with more than 30 local farms to bring the best of what the bountiful Hudson Valley has to offer in seasonal and sustainable fruits and vegetables. In addition to fresh produce, we also distribute local farm-fresh dairy items, grains, and artisanal foods.

Having spent years in the restaurant business, we know what is important to our customers. Red Barn Produce offers competitive prices without sacrificing quality. And as a USDA-inspected vendor, we can provide service to educational, health care, and other institutions, as well as to fine restaurants.  We deliver six days a week, provide a list of weekly specials, and excel at customer service.
