Giving back to the local community

At Red Barn Produce, we are proud of our long-standing commitment to giving back to the community. Our mission goes beyond being produce wholesalers and includes supporting local agriculture and farmers, and having a deep connection with the people in the towns we serve.

Red Barn Produce is active with:

  • Food banks – Red Barn Produce is a proud contributor to local food pantries in the Hudson Valley. We recognize that many local families are facing difficult times and we are committed to helping community volunteers alleviate hunger in our region.
  • Hudson Valley Restaurant Week – Red Barn Produce is a sponsor of Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, which is held every March and is the area’s most wide-reaching culinary event. Chefs at approximately 160 participating restaurants make a special effort to create dishes made from ingredients grown or produced at Hudson Valley farms.
  • Sustainability presentations – We enjoy talking to schools and organizations about local, green, sustainable efforts and what each of us can do. Please contact us if you would like to learn more or arrange for a presentation.
