Taliaferro Farms is a family farm that was established in 1997. Sylvester (everyone calls him Pete) and wife Robin decided to purchase this land in 1994, and start the journey of owning a farm. Sylvester was one of the first farmers to pursue the organic vegetable and fruit movement, and create a community supported agriculture space for locals to have better access to food. As they grew the business they had 3 children who ended up working along side them.

Years later one of those children, his daughter, me, Delaney Taliaferro decided to start my own journey of farming, and soon my fiance Joseph Alzamora joined my band wagon. I so much wanted to share the love of food my parents gave me. I grew up watching the process of growing food, harvesting, cooking, and composting, and not many people get to say that. I am now the Second Generation, and can hardly hold in my excitement on sharing my love for food that grows everyday with the community with our memberships, farm to table dinners, and farm stays.
